MUDr. Kamal Farhan (ANO 2011) has become the new Governor of the Pilsen Region. He will lead the region for the 2024-2028 electoral period. The decision was made at the constituent meeting of the newly elected Assembly of the Pilsen Region held on Wednesday 30 October 2024. Kamal Farhan wants to focus on regional transport, education, health and social issues from his position as Governor.

My goal is to make the Pilsen Region the best place to live," said the new Governor Kamal Farhan in his speech.
