On Saturday, October 7, 2023, the State of Israel became the subject of violent attacks by the terrorist movement Hamas from the Gaza Strip. As a result, hundreds of people lost their lives, many were injured or taken hostage in the territory of the Gaza Strip.
"At a time when the world is dealing with Russian aggression in Ukraine, and the fighting shows that violence and inhumane treatment are on the daily basis there, it is unacceptable that we tolerate further outbreaks of conflict where people are dying. I believe that the tough response of the Israeli military will not be without effect. At the moment, at least by hoisting the flag, we are expressing support for the State of Israel in this difficult and tragic situation," says the Governor of the Pilsen Region," Rudolf Špoták.
