At the 22nd meeting of the Assembly of the Pilsen Region on Monday, June 8, 2020, the deputies approved a proposal to dismiss the President of the Pilsen Region, which was submitted by Josef Bernard himself. There were 39 representatives present for the appeal, 3 abstained and 2 were against.
One seat in the Council of the Pilsen Region was no longer elected, the council has eight members and has a quorum.
The powers of the President of the Pilsen Region are transferred to the statutory deputy, the Vice President of the Pilsen Region Marcela Krejsová. The Vice President Ivo Grüner was voted as her deputy at the meeting.
