The Vice President acting as President of the Region met with Sergei Bezrukov, Commercial Counsellor of the Russian Federation in the Czech Republic, at the Regional Office, on Tuesday, July 21, 2020. The meeting was also attended by Radka Trylčová, the Pilsen Region Council member and Director of the Regional Chamber of Commerce, and Petr Chvojka, Chairman of the Board of the Regional Chamber of Commerce.
The main topic of the meeting was the support of business and mutual business cooperation between business entities in the Pilsen Region and Russia, the possibilities of obtaining state business contracts for our companies and the support of tourism. Both parties also reported on the impact of the coronavirus crisis.
"The Russian Federation has many programs to support business projects, business and production in various areas. There are many opportunities for the Czechs. A Czech engineer thinks similarly to a Russian engineer. Czech workforce is highly appreciated in Russia," said Sergei Bezrukov. Marcela Krejsová proposed to hold a summit for entrepreneurs in the region, where all business opportunities with Russia would be presented.
