On Tuesday, February 25, 2020, Sergei Bezrukov, Commercial Counsellor of the Russian Federation in the Czech Republic, visited the Regional Office. He outlined the possibilities of business cooperation with Russia to the President of the Region Josef Bernard and the Vice-President Ivo Grüner.
There are great prospects of business and cultural cooperation for our region, including tourist opportunities. Russia is interested in expanding direct trade cooperation with the Czech Republic. Many of our products and products from Russia are now imported through third parties such as Germany and Romania. Russia is interested in Czech investments, which are now 4 times smaller than Russian investments in our country.
Russia offers the organization of business missions, which will present the opportunities offered. Josef Bernard promised to support the cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce.
