Two delegations from China visit Pilsen Region
On Thursday, 14 November 2013, a delegation from Hangzhou, China, came to visit the Pilsen Region. Pilsen Region President Milan Chovanec knows Hangzhou well as he has visited the city in the past.
The regional president, who would like to forge a partnership based on personal friendship, proposed that the Chinese promote themselves in the Czech Republic at the ECOC 2015 event or at the International Tourism Expo of the Pilsen Region (ITEP).

The next day, on Friday, 15 November 2013, a delegation from Zhejiang province visited Pilsen Region. The meeting primarily focused on attracting Chinese investors to Pilsen Region and establishing contacts between the Chinese and businesses in the region. A Sino-Czech symposium is scheduled to take place in Pilsen in the spring of 2015.
Zhejiang province occupies 1% f the area of China, is home to 4% of the Chinese population and produces a full tenth of China’s gross domestic product.
