Karolína Vlčková is the best Czech female golf player

The international women’s golf tournament was held in Golf Park Plzeň from 17 to 19 June 2016. The patronage over the event was assumed by President of the Pilsen Region Václav Šlajs.

Karolína Vlčková was declared the best player of the tournament.

The best players from around the world participated in the tournaments of the Ladies European Tour series (Europe's highest professional competition).  Although the three-day tournament was interrupted by the storm several times, the players showed great performances. Albane Valenzuela from Switzerland was announced as the Best amateur player. President of the Pilsen Region Václav Šlajs gave Karolína Vlčová the award for the best Czech player of the tournament. The overall winner of the Tipsport Golf Masters Tournament was a Danish player Nanna Koerstz Madsen.

“I am glad that such an important international golf event is hosted by the Pilsen Region. I believe that the Golf Park Plzen in Dýšina will held the tournament again next year, " said the President of the Region at the prize award ceremony.
