Ambassador of Italy visited Pilsen

Ambassador of Italy to the Czech Republic H. E. Aldo Amati accompanied by General Secretary of Italian - Czech  Chamber of Commerce and Industry Matteo Mariani and Director of Italian Cultural Institute in Prague Giovanni Sciola visited the Pilsen Region on February 15, 2017. They met with Josef Bernard, President of the Pilsen Region, Regional Vice President Martin Baxa and Regional Council Member Radka Trylčová to discuss possibilities of cooperation in different spheres. First and foremost, the discussion focused on cultural issues, nevertheless, economic ties and sharing information on environmental protection including best practices also came up as significant topics of the meeting.  „A week of Italian culture“ focused on film, music, gastronomy to be held in Pilsen may be one of the steps to bring Italian culture closer to people in the Pilsen Region.
