A delegation from Zhejiang Province, Pujiang County, China, visited the Pilsen Region on 10th and 11th December, 2014. The first day, the delegation members visited the region and Pilsen where they were literally enchanted by the taste of Pilsen beer. On the second day, the delegation led by the Honorary Chairperson of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), Pujiang County, Mr Shi Zhenqiang, was received at the regional office of the Pilsen Region by President’s Deputy Ivo Grüner and Chairperson of the District Chamber of Commerce ‘Plzeňsko’ Miloslav Zeman.
Both parties introduced each other their regions and discussed the possibilities of mutual cooperation. China is interested in the growth of economic cooperation. “Central and Eastern Europe is weak in terms of cooperation. It is necessary to seek new opportunities,” said Shi Zhenqiang.
Zhejiang Province has the most private businesses in China, Pujiang County is especially renowned for glass production. Pujiang was declared the crystal city.
