The President of the Pilsen Region Josef Bernard together with the Members of  the Regional Council and other special guests opened the 15th year three-day ITEP 2019 Tourism Fair  on September 19, 2019. This year´s ITEP Tourism Fair offered visitors a new concept and arrangement in the new premises of TJ Lokomotiva Plzeň.

Every day, visitors were taken in the form of lectures to various parts of the world, namely to Nicaragua, the disappearing world of the Amazonian natives, to see the order and chaos of Morocco and Mauritania, to the Faroe Islands or by bike to Africa. Visitors  strolled through countryside as part of the ‘Wander  along  the  Golden  Route’ competition  and  next  to  the Pilsen  Region  exposition  they  found  a corner dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Communist regime, where Radek Nakládal presented travel stories from thirty years ago that people had sent to www.facebook.com/turisturaj. The visitors also had a chance to taste international and regional dishes.

Foreign guests included e.g. the representatives of the Timiș County from the partner region of Banat who presented traditional crafts and dishes. The State Porcelain Museum in Hohenberg, Bavaria, Europe's largest museum of this kind, was one of the new exhibitors.
